Titled “Overcoming Processing Challenges (Part 2) – Elevate Tire Performance with SureMix® & High-Performance Silanization,” this live webinar, hosted by Rubber News, is scheduled for November 7, 2023, from 8:30–9:30 a.m. EST. This webinar is the fourth installment in a series designed to help tire and rubber parts producers achieve their sustainability and performance objectives.
In this upcoming webinar, Dr. Gabriel Short, Product Innovation Chemist, and Mr. Vince Cremona, Innovation Program Manager, will address the rapidly evolving demands within the tire industry, including the pursuit of improved fuel economy, tire longevity, and enhanced traction. They will present a novel approach that improves compound processability without compromising essential tire performance properties. Through the integration of SureMix® functional process aids and high-performance silanization (HPS), attendees will gain insights into how the tire manufacturing industry can revolutionize its practices while raising product performance standards.

About the Presenters
Gabriel N. Short (Product Innovation Chemist, PSG) — Dr. Short, who joined PSG in 2022, supports the continued innovation efforts for additive product lines and the development of sustainable chemical solutions to address customer and market needs. As PSG’s Product Innovation Chemist, he leverages his materials, chemical synthesis, characterization, and processing expertise to devise sustainable synthesis routes for target chemistries and optimize existing methodologies. Dr. Short holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Organic Polymer Chemistry from the University of Florida and conducted postdoctoral research at the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on carbon capture.
Vince Cremona (Innovation Program Manager, PSG) — Mr. Cremona is a distinguished professional who brings over 25 years of experience in chemical engineering and product development to PSG. He joined the organization in 2017 as the Innovation Program Manager, focusing on developing and manufacturing functional performance process aids for the rubber market. He also plays a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Innovation/R&D Lab. Mr. Cremona holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
