Figures 3 and 4 illustrate the energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) benefits from eliminating mixing passes. For 18,000 MT of compound, energy consumption reduces by 500 to 1,000 MWH. This energy reduction also reduces CO2 emissions by 225 to 500 MT. An added benefit is that SureMix® is produced using 100% biobased hydrocarbons.
